The Weekend

Date: 30th October to 1st November, 2025

The Weekend was a themed, multi-event technical fest that offered students an immersive blend of competition, creativity, and hands-on learning through its three flagship events—Blood Bytes, Transylvanian Escape, and Pixel Paranoia. Blood Bytes was a multi-round competitive programming contest that challenged participants with time-bound, theme-based DSA problems, testing their logical thinking, consistency, and problem-solving skills. Transylvanian Escape offered a zero-coding, mystery-solving experience where teams worked together to crack riddles, decode clues, and progress through escape-room-style challenges, encouraging creative thinking and teamwork. Pixel Paranoia, a 6-hour UI/UX hackathon with a prize pool of ₹25,000, challenged teams to solve industry-level design problem statements under expert mentorship, focusing on user experience, design thinking, innovation, and real-world applicability. Collectively, The Weekend created a high-energy platform that balanced technical depth with creativity, encouraged collaboration and healthy competition, and gave students valuable exposure beyond the classroom.
